A friend of mine has a 2002 4runner and has had problems filling the gas tank--the pump nozzle continually shuts off after only a few seconds. We checked it out online and found out one possible cause could be a clogged hose connected to the charcoal canister.

Has anyone tried disconnecting the day time running lights on a 3rd gen 4runner? I haven't checked the fuse box yet to see if there's a fuse controlling that circuit, but thought I'd check here first to find out if there's a better way.
