Budjack, how did you attach those off road lights? I have the same bar and very similar lights and have been trying to figure out how to attach them. My lights are KC and are threaded stems, probably 1/2 inch.

    A/T Oil Temp Light

Similar thing I had the same thing. A/T oil light came on, I checked the level, added a little bit and the light came on a few minutes later. I found out that when the fluid is overfilled, it will also trip the light. I took it to my servicing dealer and they changed the fluid, correct level...

    Longest trip with your 4R?

4,000+ I just did a 4,000+ road trip with my son to go visit some baseball parks on the east coast. Drove from CO to Cooperstown, NY to Philly, to Detroit, to Chicago then back through Iowa and Nebraska to get back home. No issues with the old 4Runner but it was hot without AC. We would do...

I just went on a 4,000 mile trip from Colorado up I-70 to Cooperstown, NY and on the way home my son and I saw baseball games at the Yankees, Phillies, Tigers, Cubs, and the Field of Dreams in Iowa. My 4runner now has 205K on it and it did not skip a beat. I kept expecting something to happen...

    1999 4Runner 3.4L will not start????

Was the starting intermittent? I have had a similar problem with my 1990. On cold days and sometimes when the truck had been running for my 35 minute commute, it would not start; very intermittent. All lights would come on, batter was at 13V, I could hear the relay in the ECU clicking, but...

Do my Rocker arms need adjustment? (ticking Sound)

Also make sure you have the correct amount of oil that can reduce a little of the clacking. Mine has 192,000 and burns about an ounce a week.

    Power antennae question

I have the same problem. I have also heard that even though my Haines manual does not say to do this, but that you have to remove the fender or the wheel well to replace the antenna. Is that true?
