Longest trip with your 4R?

So.Cal to Indy, 2100 miles in 2 days during the winter and I took the north route, I-15 to I-70 through NV, UT, CO, KS, MO, IL. got some serious snow in CO. while trying to climb the Rockies. the whole trunk was loaded, on a level ground the rear suspension compressed 4".

I just did a 4,000+ road trip with my son to go visit some baseball parks on the east coast. Drove from CO to Cooperstown, NY to Philly, to Detroit, to Chicago then back through Iowa and Nebraska to get back home. No issues with the old 4Runner but it was hot without AC. We would do it all again!

My longest trip was the drive from Boston to K.C. bringing the 4runner home after I bought it.

Took it on vacation this summer up to Wisconsin, about 18hrs round trip.

About 1900 miles round trip for me, MO to central CO and back. When ever I'm driving it thou it feels like I could go around the world, just love driving this truck.

About 1550 miles from Birmingham, AL to Dallas and then up to Steamboat Springs. Made this drive twice in the 4R and once in my 06 Mustang GT. The 4T needless to say is definitely a better road trip vehicle. Other than being able to go 120-140 a few times on the way through Kansas in the stang

Fishing trip to Cranberry Portage Mb. About 1800 miles round trip with boat in tow. loaded up with camping gear, food, and drink for a week stay in Gods country.

Charlotte, NC to Iowa City, IA

Moved from Charlotte to Iowa City, IA, 950 miles one way. Pulled the biggest Uhaul trailer I could rent w/ almost everything I own in it. 08' 4Runner had no issues, tried to stay tucked in behind an big rig whenever I could.

Kansas City, KS to Virginia Beach, VA.

Actually I was all over VA, so I dont remember the exact mileage. Should be around 1200 miles (one way) though, and the 4runner did awesome. I did that trip and another short trip to St Louis the week I returned. I put a little under 4k miles on the 4runner in 3 weeks.

2600 miles+ round trip 7 times - San Antonio, TX to Ontario, CA. These trips are about 1/2 the mileage on my '07. Not a single problem.

I just survived a 3500 miles through Canada's Yukon and Northwest Territories on the Dempster Highway, then to Whitehorse and back to Alaska. The landscape was beautiful and the northern lights were amazing!

Not very far at all... from CT to PA/NJ/NH/MA, a few times.

If I was the traveling type, I'd drive the runner without any hesitation.
