I found a picture from way back when I first bought the 4runner. Looks a little different now.

Everybody taking a breather after making it through this slop. All 4 rigs made it through with the 4runners leading the way. I got got into a big fight with a deep rut that wanted to dump me in the lake sideways but got it out of there withought a tug. Great run today with 87SaltyRunner!!

First real trail damage! Slippery Forida sand creek bottoms and trees dont mix!

Big thanks and shoutout to 87SaltyRunner to pulling me up out of the creek bottom and saving at least my truck from anymore dings! CJ-7 that was with us today grenaded a locking hub clean off the axle though in the soft sand.

This was a 4Runner a guy in our offroad club built with Rockwell Axels underneath and 4-linked the front and rear. It is what sparked my adoration for 4Runners. 4 years later, I finally got one for myself (below) that I will surely keep with me for many years.

Budjack, how did you attach those off road lights? I have the same bar and very similar lights and have been trying to figure out how to attach them. My lights are KC and are threaded stems, probably 1/2 inch.

Had to test out the new locker and my repaired transfer case, all worked well.

Here's a couple pics of my 86' 4R. I bought it for $1100 three years ago with a blown head gasket (22re) bad tranny and radiator, but the body and frame were in great shape with no rust.

Went out and played in my favorite trails today, I was the only 1st gen but Im totally jealous of both the 3rds that were with me today. No stucks today, Just a few backup and run at it again spots. The last pic is of one of the 3rds gens way on the other side of the pond, theres a muddy path all the way around and he's the only one who wanted to try it today after all the rain we had.
