The guy working on it said he "banged" on them as much as he dared, not wanting to cause any damage. I don't believe the lower spacers had stud extenders.

I realize that stacking the spacers isn't ideal. It certainly wasn't the intention. I am no mechanic and just wanted a slightly more aggressive stance. The fact that the metal spacers are fused in, it seems like I'm stuck with them.? Will this be OK short term? If I could start over can anyone...

After too much reading about this subject, I went ahead and did the install. Super easy and I dig the sound. My kit fit well with no problems. I did put a small section of foam weather stripping under the front side of the box to to reduce any vibration down the road. Not sure if all the calls...

Just got my 05 Sport and ordered the DICE integration kit. I have read some of the other threads regarding being able to scan through songs etc (which shows up on HU). My question is with the single disc JBL, does the text info show on the HU? Right now no kind of info text does.
