I lowered the spare down and fixed the problem,I removed bracket and with a grinder removed about 1/8" of material from retaining clip and "U" bracket,then painted silver and re installed and it now clears rim.But it still scratched my aluminum spare rim.

I also traded my Tundra fof a 05 4Runner Sport but I also have a 8"X10" trailer to haul large things.The 4Runner does alot better on fuel than the Tundra.I got the V6.
