Sorry, not sure what bulbs were in them. It’s been a while since I removed my broken ones. I’d suggest pulling the old bulbs to verify the type before you purchase replacements.

Impact screwdriver...genius. 10 years ago I removed these stubborn bolts and used it as an excuse to buy a die grinder to remove the bolt heads after I stripped them with a normal screwdriver. I like this impact screwdriver idea much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, your ignition cylinder was replaced at some point. I replaced mine last year, so I have a new key for the ignition and the original key for the doors. It’s a bit annoying to carry around the extra door key just in case the door lock fob dies, but I’m putting up with it for now. One day...

The first thing I’d check is vacuum hoses. There are a bunch, and if any one of them becomes disconnected, you’ll get some kind of idling anomaly. So start by following every single hose under the hood to make sure it is connected to something at both ends.

I once had a squeaking rat cage sound only when I let off the throttle. It was quiet during acceleration and deceleration, but annoying when coasting with not much throttle. Turned out to be the driveshaft in that case.

Duster, I like it! I've been looking for something like this that's DOT compliant. How did you actually mount your Rigid fog lights? It looks like you have the bracket on the bottom. Is it screwed into the valence, or is it attached to something more structural? I can't tell from your picture:

Great job bringing this 4Runner back to life! I like the fog light look of the early 3rd gens. Can't wait to finally replace mine after about 6 years of empty holes where the old ones used to be.
