My issue is that the sr5 seems to have 8 coils on passenger and 9 on driver. The off road are both 8 . Does the driver have to have that extra spring coil to prevent the lean? It seems they are side specific for the sr5 but not for the off road which is confusing me.

Need some pros to answer this. I have a 2014 SR5 and am replacing the front struts with a 2018 set of trd off road struts. I see that the SR5 has 1 extra coil on the driver side, however the off road is the exact same size for both driver and passenger. Is this going to create a lean?

Not a pro. Just a trd off road. I noticed both springs are the same height though. I thought the fronts on 4runner had a larger spring on the driver side to make up for weight?

Afternoon! Picked up a set of 2018 shocks and struts from a trd off road. Is this plug n play on a 2014 sr5 4x4? The front coils seem to be the same height at about 14" on both.

You should also consider the Hankook RF10 E rated $50 rebate right now as well. Smooth, strong, had mine for 8k miles now. Sand, mud, rocks, wet road, they have been solid on all terrain.

X's 2 on bad thermostat. Easy cheap repair. Also check hoses and cracks on the radiator while changing it out.

You should add Hankook RF10s into the mix, I have taken them on rocks, water, sand and snow. Loving the drive on the highway in between.
