Installed a Yaesu FT7900 Ham radio with lip mount on the rear hatch. I'm considering drilling the hole for a roof mount... hmmm...

The idiot light started flashing today. I didn't want to pay for the TPM system to be fixed because I don't use it anyway. So I jumpered the wires. Works well!

It actually only takes a very few minutes to pull the instrument cluster in my truck. There are seven 10mm bolts, a few wiring plugs, and the rest just pops apart. I verified the mileage, etc. via Carfax and previous records before I purchased the truck. This is actually a very easy thing...

Unfortunately I didn't purchase the truck from a dealer. I bought it from a private individual. The story about the dealer is from the individual I bought the truck from, and I am only going on his word about what happened.

Today I pulled apart the dash. It's not good. The idiots who had this truck did a lot of damage to the PCB. There are at least 14 components broken off. Here are a couple pics.

Karyins - I hope you've fixed this by now, but if not: yes, the same part is listed for 2003 to 2009 T4Rs. The 4Runner is not known to be difficult to work on, but this is absolutely the easiest thing to fix on the whole truck. No tools are needed. Just roll down the rear window and start...
