Can't answer the tire question, but I also expirience MPG loss at idle (as shown by the computer) at roughly the same rate you are describing. No clue why.

I live on the Cape, I would be willing to drive up to the Boston area to pick the tires up. How old are they (what year did you buy them?) and aprox. how many miles are on them? I could pick them up this Sat 8/28.

Just an update: I ordered two calipers for left and right front brakes, it only cost 73 a caliper after core so I figure why not when the pads need replacing anyways and the caliper is 110k miles old and likely due to freeze soon. I went with the Raybestos professional grade remanuf calipers...

I think they only way would be to take them apart. My front right is seized and I notice no difference driving or braking (no pulling to one side and no abnormalities)

Been searching for quite a while and cant find any information. The Limited and SR5 use a 12.6" rotor and a different caliper than the Sport, but are brake pad sizes different or the same? I know the calipers from Limited/SR5 have different casting numbers, are they different sizes...
