"Typing from somewhere in the Stans"... I had this same popping problem but then I lubed my driveshaft and the popping went away. I highly recommend lubing your shafts first. Ciao

Do you mean the slip yoke? If so, it gets the moly. If you're talking about the double cardan joint, I never found it. But it should get moly as well. Any brand of grease will do as long as you stipulate that you need a lithium grease and a moly lithium grease. I'll post some pics of the...

According to the installation instructions in the owner's manual, it doesn't look like it's that difficult to get to. I'm relieved to know it didn't cost anymore than $20.
