Wonderful. Next step, how do I go about vacuuming out, and then adding a can of the A/C coolant?

It was clear and felt cold as it sprayed. The part looked like it was installed after market, like my tranny cooler, but I could be wrong, I will check the A/C and let you know

In my brilliance to install an air horn, I managed to destroy the part in the picture. I'm worried it's part to my tranny cooler, as when I unscrewed something it burst and what felt like coolant sprayed everywhere.

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my truck. '98 4x4, I was playing in the mud, hit a mud hole, and as I was driving home, I noticed my steering wheel wobble as I go 55+mph. I'm not sure if its the alignment, axel, cv joint or none of the above. Thanks for the help!

Sorry to ask, but I cannot find any real difference between regular disc brakes and the 410 brakes I have on my 98. What is the advantage of the 410's? Just more braking surface? Thanks in advance! Andrew

I was able to swap the tires out, and put crappy ones on, But that was about it. I literally JUST replaced the headlights, brakes, lines, and was 5 miles in on a new tank of gas. But wasn't able to get any of that stuff off.

a few days ago, someone posted on here they changed out the gas pistons that hold the gate open. I think they said they paid around $45 for each side, with shipping it was just over $100.

Dont be stingy with the PB blaster. Sometimes you have to spray then go get a beer, spray again, go get a sandwich. ETC. PB is GREAT stuff. With a 2-3 foot breaker bar, or pipe you should be able to yank that sucker off with a few good cuss words.

I did the same thing when I first got my 98 with 150k. I used 2 cans total, half in the gas tank, half in the throttle, half in the oil. But make sure you change the oil after about 500 miles of the seafoam in there. Or at least change your filter. Seafoam is great stuff, I love it.

Either synthetic, or a synthetic blend is fine. You can go about 5k. Everyone uses something different, but its a pretty safe bet with the "newer" technology

in 1998, the base and the SR5 editions came with 15 in wheels. The limited's came with the 16 inch. However, I like everyone else has changed to the 16's and much larger tires. Since you got the bigger tires, you will need a lift!
