In my brilliance to install an air horn, I managed to destroy the part in the picture. I'm worried it's part to my tranny cooler, as when I unscrewed something it burst and what felt like coolant sprayed everywhere.

I could be completely wrong, but that almost looks like an A/C component.

What color was the fluid that came out?

It was clear and felt cold as it sprayed. The part looked like it was installed after market, like my tranny cooler, but I could be wrong, I will check the A/C and let you know

That is the A/C reciever dryer.

You need a set of gauges and a decent vacuum pump. HF has them for a total of `$200, depending on sales. Pro's piss all over them, but they work for me doing one car every year or two.

It's around a $15 part from rockauto for denso brand. And if you search around your area, I found the cheapest place to pull a vacuum and put in refrigerant was $60.
