We have a crossover pipe that goes in the same place though. And how is the 90-95 transmission different from the other one space wise? Why wouldn't it fit?
I've seen these on a 01 4runner
I finally found CARB legal headers that will fit the 3.4. I'm collecting parts to do the swap and want to put headers on it before the engine goes in the car. This says it fits 99-02 4runners with a little modification?
Have any of you guys seen or done these?

That place looks pretty cool. Thats not too far, few hours which isn't unreasonable. Seems they only do DOA racing engines which I can't afford. At least thats what I took away from the website.
I found a bracket/mount while i was under the car. its attached to the transmission just opposite of the transfer case. Its doesn't appear to do anything.... ideas?

Biggest problem with getting it welded is that it doesn't warp. Mine was torn right where the clutch rod goes through the firewall and then the studs didn't line up when it cooled down. Took a lot of effort to put it back. Good luck!
Yeah, depending on your year, There are nuts you have to undo inside the engine bay that hold the clutch cylinder on cause the studs go through the firewall and are attached to that bracket. (took me a while to figure that out.) They are pretty easy to get to though, then you have the 4 nuts on...
Don't do it yet! I just took mine out this week to get it welded because it tore and I thought mine was stuck too but there are a few little hidden bolts.
However if you can see weld seems... then good luck.
Going to be replacing the clutch in my second gen and was looking at the duralast clutch set from autozone. This a good choice? Its about $150 and I don't want to be spending $250 on a clutch set.
Thanks guys
