header engine bay modification

I finally found CARB legal headers that will fit the 3.4. I'm collecting parts to do the swap and want to put headers on it before the engine goes in the car. This says it fits 99-02 4runners with a little modification?
Have any of you guys seen or done these?

Also this set is half as much and also carb legal but only fits a taco? Same modification required or what?

How different is our engine bay as far as spacing? I thought the truck lines were pretty similar of the same years..

We have a crossover pipe that goes in the same place though. And how is the 90-95 transmission different from the other one space wise? Why wouldn't it fit?
I've seen these on a 01 4runner
