For some reason in the past two weeks the rear window will only go down while using the switch inside, but will go up and down from outside with the key. Also, the power sunroof will not open with the switch, but you can hear the motor working when you hit the switch like you are closing it...

It's right in the same darn spot the hood latch should be! I pull it all the time to get under thehood and hear the latch in the rear come open....DOH! Wow good deal on your runner. I feel like a fool for paying 6250!

thanks for everyones wisdom. I have put this in vehicles in the past.....sold them long before I found out what really happened to them. This one is a keeper so a little oil leak isn't worth it. What can I expect for a 14 year old truck? Actually, perfection, but I will try to live with it.

Any advice on the use of a stop leak product, for engine oil.

Just curious if anyone has had their fuel injectors cleaned or used a fuel injection cleaner additive. Mechanic told me today my slight miss or rough idle might be from dirty injectors. Is this a common problem?

Can a gummed up throttle body cause a rough idle on 1992 3.0 v6?

I had a local shop replace my valve cover gaskets about 3 weeks ago and they are beginning to leak again!! Is this an issue with anyone else? There was not leaking for a couple weeks then it started again on the passenger side rear part of the valve cover! Should the shop take it back and do...

I did finally get in 4 wheel drive last week when we had snow in the hills! Took the wife and kids for little dive. Man that goes in and out of 4 wheel drive so easy. I may have to get it filthy soon!

1992 4runner 165k, green, leather power options, etc. It's old but wow it's nice. owned it for a month today, March 14th. Have owned several toyotas, a 91 4runner with 22re, 1996 Camry 4 cyl, 91 Previa 200k! Can't afford to own a used American Car because of maintenance costs!
