valve covers leaking again

I had a local shop replace my valve cover gaskets about 3 weeks ago and they are beginning to leak again!! Is this an issue with anyone else? There was not leaking for a couple weeks then it started again on the passenger side rear part of the valve cover! Should the shop take it back and do it over with no questions asked?

They're bad 3 weeks after repair, I would ho[pe so. What warranty did they give you?

Well since you dont tell us what motor you have its hard to give you info. I am assuming since you posted in the clasic section, that you have the 3.slow V6. No they shouldn't go bad after just 3 weeks. I had a 88 v6 truck that they went bad in (150k), I replaced them my self, what a pain in the ass that was. I'd take it back to the shop where you had the work done. Show them the slip with a date of when the work was done, and ask them to put a new set in.

Yes, I do have the 3.0 SLOW, sorry. I'll get it back in the shop. And hope they don't throw a fit.
