    Sold it after 6 months

I specifically bought my 2011 Trail w/KDSS to avoid the mushy suspension and brake dive issues which you mentioned. It handles very well on curves and on the highway. I expect that it will handle even better when I change the OEM Dunlop tires for a set of Michelins when it is time.

    42 MPG - 2011 Trail - dash mpg photo

A shot of the dash on my 2011 Trail showing 42.9 MPG last month while on a return trip from NYS to Cape Cod... The secret: fill up with 93 octane...climb to the top of a hill and let it coast down for about 7 miles! I actually averaged around 23 mpg for the entire trip. Tires pumped to 40 psi...

    Navigation

The NAV on my '11 TE sent me all over the place when I was driving it home from the dealer. I was fortunate to have my Garmin with me since it was a 400 mile trip. I actually discovered later that one of the preferences on the factory unit was set to avoid toll roads, which explained why it kept...

Need advice on my future T4R purchase.

I bought a 2011 Trail w/KDSS and NAV in December for $700 under invoice. Go to zag.com to check out pricing. They will list all of the dealers in your zip code which will honor the pricing. Good luck.

SR5 vs TE 4 wheel drive

I looked at the SR5, Limited and TE last year (w/o KDSS). I ended up buying a TE w/KDSS in December due to comments on the forum regarding handling on the road. My other car is a BMW 525 wagon and I must say that the KDSS feature on the TE makes the handling on the road very tight and it holds...

Dealer negotiations for a T4r TE

None of the dealers in the NE area had the TE w/KDSS & NAV available, so I found one out of the region in PA. I had called them previously and they didn't match my AMEX pricing at the time. However, they called on November 30th and wanted to know if I still wanted the vehicle. I said that I did...

Dealer negotiations for a T4r TE

I just picked up a 2011 Magnetic Gray TE with KDSS & NAV for $36,833 with cargo cover and mats last week. It was $700 under invoice, which I got through the AMEX section on zag.com. It also points you to USAA, but I couldn't use that buying service. I really appreciate the KDSS handling on the...

Swap Stock for Michelin LTX MS2?

I am going to pick up my 2011 TE this week and am considering swapping out the tires to get ready for the winter season. Has anyone used the Michelin LTZ MS2? I was thinking about the Nitto Terra Grappler AT, but was pointed towards the Michelins by NTB. I would like a tire with competent...
