Whats the tool to check the compression of the cylinders?

I just bought a TRD supercharger and I was wondering if I would be able to throw it onto my engine that I have now which has 250k miles. I just changed the timing belt, water pump and thermostat but I want to make sure the engine can handle the supercharger. Can anyone help me with this?
