Sorry, I wasn’t great with details. It’s a 2005 4WD V6 sport edition with 105k miles. In good condition other than needing brakes, tires and some paint work on the hood. Has the upgraded JBL sound system, remote start, aftermarket pioneer nav system.
I thank everyone for their opinions thus far. Everything you guys are saying makes sense. The only real reason I was considering selling was I keep hearing now is the time to sell for top dollar. I agree that $7500 is too low. He started off on day one offering $5k and telling it's not worth...
I have a 2005 Sport Edition that has 105,000 miles on it. I have an offer from a used car dealer of $7500 for it. It needs tires and brakes at the moment. I'm torn on selling now because that sounds great for a 17 year old truck. I also know anything new these days is sky high.
Not sure if...
I'm looking to upgrade my wiper blades and also some or all interior/exterior lights. Thoughts and recommendations? I have a 2005 Sport 4runner that I love! I would love to get a new one, but that isn't possible for a few more years, so I'd like to get some fixes and upgrades in on this one...
I didn't install the unit and the people who did left out the speed sensor wire. How hard would it be for me to do this? Any instructions from start to finish. I know i should search the forum, but i'm at work and my goof off time is low. Thanks guys.
Is the avic d3 faceplate replaceable? Also, when I turn on my 4runner, sound comes out of about 6 speakers, then within 2 - 5 seconds, the rest of the 10 kick in. I just had the avic d3 and tyto-01 harness installed along with bluetooth, ipod and sirius. Is that normal with that type of...
Sounds like its just defective. May be fault though, as my horrible experience may have spread through this thread to you. If so, take solace that my nightmare is now over. Whats the turn around time on getting a new unit?
Well boys....PRAISE THE LORD! CC returned my truck to me in PERFECT condition...everything now works like a charm. And go figure, it sounds so much better. I loved when the original installers tried to tell me it sounds great with no sub and three less speakers. They had to rewire the whole...
The nightmare may be continuing! My baby is currently at CC with the installer. He didn't seem to knowledgable about the TYTO-01 harness, but assured me that if i said its meant for this situation then he could make it work...IF THAT IS...they didnt' chop off the OEM harness, in which case i...
Well, I will find out tomorrow day or night. Two more questions for you. I barely get any AM reception...I guess CC could fix that too? Also, my nav unit came with a speed sensor wire and a reverse sensor wire, but they hooked up neither. I know the reverse wire is for a backup cam I don't...
You say it plugged into the OEM harness like a charm. Is there a chance my original installers took out the OEM harness and that I will need to order that also? Please say no...
Just to keep everyone updated, the harness TYTO-01 will arrive at my house tomorrow and I will immediately take it to Circuit City for installation. I hope to god that the previous installers havent wrecked havoc on the wiring...I will let you guys know how it turns out tomorrow night. I hope...
