Pioneer Avic D3 installed - lost 4 of 10 speakers, please help

Well boys....PRAISE THE LORD! CC returned my truck to me in PERFECT condition...everything now works like a charm. And go figure, it sounds so much better. I loved when the original installers tried to tell me it sounds great with no sub and three less speakers. They had to rewire the whole car, as the old guys rewired it their own way that the new harness wouldn't take. It cost me another $280 for this, but it is perfect now. The am/fm antenna wasn't even plugged in all the way, which is why i had no reception. So they did that of course too. I thank everyone for their help on these boards.

And in case anyone was wondering, in southern NJ, stay away from AUTO MAGIC in GLASSBORO, NJ. They are the worst. I don't know if that is appropriate on these boards, but I had to say it after the hell they put me through.

Glad to here you're up and running! Congrats! I, on the other hand, am having my own problems now. My Kenwood DNX7100 finally arrived today and after I hooked up everything, the motorized faceplate isn't working correctly. It will lower and accept discs etc, but it will not retract. I actually have to shut the power off for it to retract.

I called Kenwood and they are saying it's defective so now I have to exchange for another unit. SUCKS!

Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this other than a mechanical/technical problem?

Sounds like its just defective. May be fault though, as my horrible experience may have spread through this thread to you. If so, take solace that my nightmare is now over. Whats the turn around time on getting a new unit?

Not sure about turn-around time since I took a chance and ordered from one of the "special" Marketplace merchants on Amazon. I already tried to contact them and am now waiting for a callback from a "manager". Uhggg, I hope this isn't the start of a return-nightmare-saga.
