Found a set on craigslist and bought them today. They are very dirty, but the finish appears to be in good shape. The center caps need paint though, so I need to decide on a color.

To make a long story short, I'm trying to solve a vibration in my newly purchased 4Runner. A new rear U-joint and drive shaft balance took care of most of it, but there is still some drive line roughness. Could this mount be causing the rest of the vibration? To me it looks shot...

I'm thinking about picking up a set of 16x8" Land Cruiser wheels for my '99 4Runner. I'd like to transfer over the 265/70R16s from the stock wheels, since the tires are new. Springs will remain stock '99 talls. Will this cause any issues? Will it look goofy with the wider wheels? I can't...

Confirmed 265/70R16 as you guys suspected. Costco currently has the best price for the particular tire I want (Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza), so I'm going to order them tomorrow while still on sale. The truck should be delivered in about a week.

It's not that he won't tell me the tire size, but I believe his small dealer lot is closed weekends. I'll call him tomorrow and see if he can go out there and check this weekend. Thanks guys for the help.

Well since it could be either one, I'll just have to wait to confirm for sure. I'm guessing it has the 15" version, since the Firestone tires on there now apparently aren't available in the factory 16" size.

The buyer's guide shows there are 15" and 16" versions of the stock 3-spoke alloy wheels for the 3rd gen. Did certain years or option packages come with a certain size? I'm buying a 99 SR5 V6 4x4 5-speed unseen and I know it needs tires. I'm trying to figure out what size wheels it has so I...
