Anyone know if the Trail Edition came with different springs than a regular 4Runner?

For sure 2.5”, if I’m going to spend the money I might as well spend a little extra.

I would like some that are a direct replacement, it looks like Fox has some that are. I have the stock bilsteins now but I think their life has come to an end.

I have a 09 Trail Edtion and just went over the 100k mile mark and am looking to get some new shocks. Is anyone on here running any kind of Fox Shocks? Would like something good for in the dunes.

Those black rotors are sweet, wish they had them in the smaller size for the 16” wheels. Half the price as the power stops too.

I’m guessing then, since I have the 16” wheels, that the rotors are the 12.5” 319mm and not the 338mm?

I am looking at getting new brakes for my 09 trail edition, what are some good options out there that are under $300 for front and rear? Since it has 16” wheels I wasn’t sure if the brake size was different then a normal 4Runner. We pull a travel trailer so I kind of wanted to beef them up a little.

Just replaced the battery two months ago, never have had a problem with it.

Does anyone know how many 09 Trail editions were produced? One of those interesting useless facts I have never found.

2009 Trail Edition with 77k miles. Bought in September 2009. Only have seen one other TE in person.

Ended up getting a 179 R-pod, weighs about 3800lb fully loaded. The 4runner tows it around just fine with the stock hitch, if you had sway bars you would probably not even notice it back there. You are not going to win any races going up hills but you can hit a good 45 - 50 without pushing it to...

Did you just get regular heater hose?

Did you need any extra hose other than what came with the kit? I ordered the Hayden kit yesterday, we just bought a 179 rpod so I figured I better be safe than sorry.
