    Help with Camping Trailer Build

WMU53, it is not a torsion axle, it is a regular straight drop axle. Right now I have the trailer at a shop, they are extending the tongue, Moving the front trailer jack, adding rear jacks, a tailgate and reshaping and reinforcing the tub top so I can add some weight to it. Once that is done, I...

    4Runner and Boat

I have a 13 foot aluminum boat on a trailer. I am in the process of building out a 6x4 camping trailer so now the dilemma is that I can't take the camping trailer and boat trailer at the same time. I was wondering if anyone has ever mounted a Eide Boat Loader to their 3rd Gen successfully or has...

Help with a trailer for 3rd Gen

Thanks for the responses, that expedition portal has some great build information and @MTD and Dirtco's trailers are both beyond awesome and unfortunately beyond my skill level to construct. Been a pencil pushing kind of guy my whole career, would be nice to learn to weld!

    Help with Camping Trailer Build

Thanks everyone for the knowledge sharing, really appreciate the advice. I bought the trailer off CL for $800. It came with four almost new Michelin X radials (probably not the best tire for a trailer I hear), three steel rims and a bunch of spare rear and marker lights. I have been looking a...

    Fuel range

Since my gauge is seriously messed up, like the low fuel light sometimes comes on right after I fill up, I have been tracking MPG since I got the vehicle about a year ago now. I pretty consistently get 18 to 18.5 MPG in a mix of 15% city and 85% highway in commute traffic. I try to fill before...
