Don't use the mini cd. Download a free application on your computer called chirp. Very easy to use. There are also plenty of videos online on how to program it without software. We don't use tones or offset frequencies on the trail so it will be pretty strait forward

sfvtrdpro cleghorn and pilot rock are great learning grounds. I have never seen anyone get stuck in the over a dozen times I have run that trail. I have taken many stock t4r's though the hard sections without any problems. Go out and have some fun.
