Issue with K02s- Slippery under hard braking normal?

They're a little squirmy when new. All that siping lets you move around a bit on hard surface. It'll get better as they age a little. But you're probably also overinflated. I've ran mine at 34psi for years, ride great and feel pretty planted.

Sounds like it's time to put that fuse on a toggle switch.

    Plating Addicted Bumper

Has anyone ever plated the sides of an Addicted Rear bumper? The tubes on mine are looking like a bag of hammered booty holes and I don't have a bender to replace them. I do have a welder though and was thinking about just cleaning them up and plating over them. Wondered if anyone had done it...

    SRQ Fabrications TRD Pro Grille

At least your version is well done, even if it isn't my taste. I was going to say thank god there's no Raptor lights, but then I changed photos lol.

Best rock sliders on a budget?

Search around for some 5th Gen NFab bars. I found a set on CL few years ago for like 50 bucks. Your welder friend can make them fit.... https://www.toyota-4runner.org/2501683-post8.html

    Lower Ball Joint Failure questions

I have 70k on my Moogs. Still perfect, grassed when I installed. Now, I just had 2 books shear, but the joint is fine.

    Lower Ball Joint Failure questions

You can clearly see the joint separated. Looks like it was likely a faulty joint. However, OP I have to ask, Did you check to make sure these were greased before you installed them?

    Cree's 2000 Limited Thread

Had some time to tear into it today. Bolts sheared inside the spindle, so that's neat. Now to figure out getting that swapped out. I'm down an arm so it may just have to wait.

    Cree's 2000 Limited Thread

Had a noise from the right front and a slight pull under braking. Stick my head under the truck and was greeted with this..... 2 completely gone, both remaining bent and loose. The crazy part is I replaced that hardware 4 years ago when I put the lift on with Grade 8 Bolts and Loctite on the...

The Big 3 just turned into The Big 7

Screw 1/0. I have some Copper Pipe you can use that will really future proof your rig. Forget powering a winch, with my upgrade you can power a small village.

Top plate spacer or bump up 5100s? Need slightly more front lift

It all depends on if you're using a progressive rate or fixed rate spring. You'll see the difference on the progressives much more than on a fixed. I've ran my springs from the bottom to the third notch and can feel the difference, less on bumps and more on turns.

Top plate spacer or bump up 5100s? Need slightly more front lift

Yeah. I think so. Now you have me wondering. Fairly certain I have them on the second. Guess I'll look tomorrow. I am on TRD springs vs 880's, so if you're trying to compare height it won't be apples. Not only that, but you avoid increasing the pre-load on the springs.

Top plate spacer or bump up 5100s? Need slightly more front lift

I did a spacer. I like the ride on the second notch vs the third.

20 years old and first major repair

If you're rig isn't from the rust belt, there's a good chance your pulley/balancer will come off by hand. Mine did at 190k. If you do use a puller, remember that the outer ring is just pressed onto the balancer, so pull from the inner ring. Should be some bolt holes there.
