Plating Addicted Bumper

Has anyone ever plated the sides of an Addicted Rear bumper? The tubes on mine are looking like a bag of hammered booty holes and I don't have a bender to replace them. I do have a welder though and was thinking about just cleaning them up and plating over them. Wondered if anyone had done it already. TIA

I say mock it up with some painted cardboard and see what likes to line up and look good to you. Post pics!
