Shaking at highway speeds and while braking

Does the vibration happen only when braking? If so is the vibration less pronounced when you first start driving (cold brakes)? Mine did that and it was a caliper that was sticking causing the rotor to heat up after driving it a short time. Might be a good idea and just take it to a...

Shaking at highway speeds and while braking

Replacing the front calipers, rotors, pads, etc. is not that expensive. I had a caliper that was sticking causing one of the pucks to drag. This basically caused the rotor to warp creating the vibration. Since I was replacing everything I went ahead and did the Tundra upgrade. Smooth ever since.

Shaking at highway speeds and while braking

I had a similar issue with my front end. Did the Tundra brake upgrade with OEM rotors, pads & shims, Napa calipers. Problem solved.

    Best door ding slider?

Already spent close to $400 on paintless door repair. Doors are perfect again. No shortage of door dingers on patrol where I live. Doesn't matter how far out I park. Hoping a nice pair of sliders will help.

    Best door ding slider?

I am looking to purchase some sliders for my 02 Sport. I would like to get a set that protect well against door dings also. Getting tired of people opening their doors into me. Any idea which sliders would be best? Thanks

Bilstein: tundra front adjust. strut and oem coil?

I installed the Tundra 5100's using the stock springs on my 2002. I used the Third perch from the bottom. It brought the front up approx. 1.25 inches. The front now sits level with the rear. Ride is nice. Slightly firmer than stock.

    Leveling the front

Using stock coils. Shop wants $70 bucks to take them both back out and re-adjust the clips. Not sure whether to use the 2nd or 3rd groove. Just looking to level the front to the back. I'm slightly over an inch higher in front now. Thanks for your help.

    Leveling the front

Any suggestions on which groove to use on the 5100? I used the groove 1 below the top groove and it sits 1 inch high in the front now. Not sure if going down one more groove will be quite enough? Does any settling occur after putting on some miles? Thanks

    Leveling the front

Thanks for the info. Placed an order for the 5100's that fit the 99-06 Tundra from wheelers off road. Thanks

    Leveling the front

Just bought a 2002 sport edition 2wd. I would like to level the front end to match the rear. Looks like it needs to come up approx. 1". Looking for the best way to do this. Bilstein 5100 adjustables, ome 880 springs, highlander springs, or a combo of those I just listed? Thanks for your help.
