Leveling the front

Just bought a 2002 sport edition 2wd. I would like to level the front end to match the rear. Looks like it needs to come up approx. 1". Looking for the best way to do this. Bilstein 5100 adjustables, ome 880 springs, highlander springs, or a combo of those I just listed?

Probably a 3/4 top plate spacer from Toytec is your cheapest option. I got about 1.2 inches out of mine.

since i was replacing all the suspension, and couldn't find tundra coils, i used my stock coils with 5100's with the coil seat set on the 4th groove, counting from the bottom. i have 906's/billies in back and have a very slight rake. when the rear coils settle, may .5, it will be close to dead on.

If you are in need of new shocks anyway, then the 5100s are a great way to go. You can use your stock coils, and level it out. Or you can leave the 5100s on the stock setting and use a set of OME 880 coils to level it out.

Any suggestions on which groove to use on the 5100? I used the groove 1 below the top groove and it sits 1 inch high in the front now. Not sure if going down one more groove will be quite enough? Does any settling occur after putting on some miles?

they are easy to adjust so drop it a notch and check.

Did you buy new coils? If not the shock itself will not settle so your stuck where you are. If you have new coils you can expect them to drop .5"-1" (this has been my experience atleast)

they are easy to adjust so drop it a notch and check.

x2. and if you dont want to do it yourself take it to a shop. Cost me 20 bucks to get them re-perched at a shop in town. taking the coilover in and out of the truck is cake too

Using stock coils. Shop wants $70 bucks to take them both back out and re-adjust the clips. Not sure whether to use the 2nd or 3rd groove. Just looking to level the front to the back. I'm slightly over an inch higher in front now.
