Best door ding slider?

Any slider that sticks out far enough past the doors will be fine for that use.
CBI is running a special on bolt-on sliders right now:
And Savage makes sliders too, that are a little cheaper, but are weld-on, so I'm not sure that's something you would want to do.
Are you sure you want to add sliders if the only thing you'll be using them for is to prevent door dings? It seems like a cheaper option would just be to park away from everyone lol.

I have trail gear sliders and you can mount them as close in or as far out as you like. My tires stick out past the body about 2", and I mounted my sliders so they were almost even with the tires.
Next time around I'll be mounting them flat like a running board and they'll probably stick out even further

Yip. I have mine set up to around even with the outer extent of the flares, although honestly my stupid limited cladding would be the only thing being hit by a door anyways.

I got Trail Gear sliders from Addicted Offroad.
Cost was $176.00 shipped to the door and I mounted them with about 1 degree of upward tilt, basically flat.
Has saved my drivers side door twice that I know of because I saw it.
Last one was about a 400lb woman winging open a huge Cadillac door right as I walked around to get in, it left a pretty big half moon on the edge of her door.
I couldn't help saying, "Bet you wished you hadn't done that huh?"
Didn't even chip the paint off my slider, it actually hit the grip tape and barely left a mark.
Her door however had a nasty half moon.

I remember that long walk. (in a DRESS, no less!) AND the 5.5 hours it took to pull said vehicle, by hand, off the side of that very scary cliff.. Thanks Babe, never a dull moment with you boys...:banana:
