Thanks! I think I need to make sure they used their own fluid.. since just change the auto trans fluid. I don't want to drain it again.

Make sure they really top off the oil the first time.. I don't trust place like Jiffy Lube... those low cost oil change place, since I heard lots horrible stories. You never know are they doing the right thing. Or they change the oil in hurry... i.e. 10min . they didn't drain all of your oil or...

On a 95 V6 with auto transmission. I got confused by the manual. Since the manual state: 4cyl. - gear oil (75W90) 6cyl. maunal - gear oil (75W90) but 6 cycl. auto. - Dextron II ??? I just wonder if it is a typo or they use different fluid just for auto v6 transfer case?

Ok.. found the drain plug and filling location (dip stick) Just wonder, what kind of ATF should I used?

I am very new to 4Runner, can someone tell me which is a good service manual for doing all regular maintenance. I used to work with my VWs, and Bimmer, the Bentley have a very good service manual for those, however they don't have any for the 4Runner.

Recently I just purchase a 95 v6 4Runner with automatic transmittion. The previous owner never change the fluid for 6 yrs, and I found the ATF fluid level is pretty low. I know changing the ATF fluid is a very easy task, (as easy as engine oil change) but I haven't done this before. Anyone know...
