    Spc upper control arms

Got notified on the new replies... I've had these UCA's (the second-gen version I think) for 5-6 years now and they have been problem-free and quiet. I think I've only greased them 4 times. Thought it might be useful data because often you only hear about problems.

    Spc upper control arms

The insert that is installed in the top of the spindle and accepts the tapered ball joint end? Yeah that's supposed to be included. Did you get the right kit? Part number 25460

FS: (3rd Gen) Tundra TRD YY/YB Front Springs, Used ~15K, $175 obo shipped

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, yes SOLD Yes they could be assembled onto stock shocks. I would strongly advise against it due to lack of available downtravel that would occur. You should have a longer travel shock like the Tundra or Tacoma Billies for running these, same as with any lift...

    Transmission temps after bypass questions!

From the info already presented, especially in Slapdappy's last post, you should be able to form your own opinion.

Tundra 5100, 99 Tall perch settings????

This is my exact setup. Tundra 5100's, 99 talls, arb Tacoma bullbar, winch. I also have a 1/2 inch body lift so take that into account. On the 3rd perch my hub-to-fender(limited flares) measurement is 21.75"(driver), 22"(pass). My 33's still rub a bit so I need another perch or a top spacer.

What the heck is killing my battery?

This may be a remote possibility, but I noticed you have a XRC8 winch. I have one as well and when my solenoid went bad my battery was dying constantly. I figured out a day or two later that it was a bad solenoid because one of it's terminals and the cable leading to it was burned out...

Worst luck ever during sway bar bushing replacement

I put mine facing backwards, but I'm quite certain that it makes no difference whatsoever.

Toytec superflex installed and now problems

Changing out your shocks will not fix the noise. I have Tacoma 5100's and I've had the same problem since installing the superflex rear springs a year ago. I've heard it called coil slap and apparently it's not uncommon when using progressive coil springs - especially when they include a large...

White smoke out tail pipe (not sweet smelling) help!

White smoke usually means coolant. You may not think head gasket but I would recommend a compression check to be sure. You can rent a gauge for free at a parts store. Make sure to check the engine while it's completely cold. Other possibly could be water getting in through the intake such as...

    Bilstein 5100

I had a 5100 (tundra front, passenger side) snap in half at the lower weld about a month ago. I am running no front sway bar and no limit straps - wondering if you had either (bar or straps) when yours failed? edit: forgot to mention for the OP - mine started leaking and looked just like that...

    throttle body spacer ?

Just no... Long answer - this is a SUV not a high revving sports car. If the engine designers had calculated an overall benefit from a larger intake manifold plenum they would've designed it that way. The 3.4l V6 and 2.7 I4 are a thing of beauty in these rigs. Don't eff with em (except with...

99 4runner limited-I keep leaving the headlights on

I stand corrected... I thought it was the DRL's that provided this function.
