I've had these UCA's (the second-gen version I think) for 5-6 years now and they have been problem-free and quiet. I think I've only greased them 4 times.

Thought it might be useful data because often you only hear about problems.

Thanks dude I just saved $100.00 switching to Summit,
May not swap them now prices only going up, yea press needed for install SPC shows using sawzall cutting out old bushing metal sleave.

My buddy and I both have tubular arms with 2nd gen bushings, issue free.

I bought an extra set of ball joints (for $75) and have them on the shelf, along with fresh uniballs for my Anonymous Fab uniball LBJs

The sheathing on my uniball LBJs is starting to shred, so I will take that as a hint to press new balls in.

These threads make me curious about the longevity of my SPC 25945 RLLs. But, since I bought mine from O'Reilly's, they come with a Lifetime warranty.

I replaced my RLLs with Rokmen arms that come with "enduromax" bushings

I will pull them and inspect the bushings next time I pull the truck down for service

Just relaying what SPC showed in install procedure, use correct size plug, socket,
whatever I'm sure they can be pressed out. TBD when time comes aye.

I believe my arms came with the SpecRide bushings, they look identical. No problems so far...

If I upgrade bushings, x-axis makes sense - Summit sells them for $171, install requires a press:

What's important with bushings, besides endurance, if y'all are upgrading/replacing is the spring rate, durometer scale. Bushings behave similar to coils with spring rates. If the bushings have issues or are rough riding you need to find out the durometer scale and pick which direction to go in. Did SPC supply this information. For the amount of $$$ they want this should be detailed accurately. Like they did something special. It's just bushings and a ball. I guess all that extra $$$ scratch is because the ball is adjustable..

I've had my SPC upper control arms since 2014 which have 150k on original ball joints & bushings. So far so good. I haven't greased the bushings since installation because I haven't had any squeaking. Been very happy with them. Made clearing 35s easier & since alignment techs rarely get my alignment where I want it, I'm able to fine tune it myself. But if I didn't have 35s I would have stuck with OEM UCAs.

Made clearing 35s easier & since alignment techs rarely get my alignment where I want it, I'm able to fine tune it myself. But if I didn't have 35s I would have stuck with OEM UCAs.

I wanted to lock out my LCAs after repeatedly seeing several guys cams come loose, move, etc.; which pretty much meant adjustable UCAs.

That being said, not only can I align my truck perfectly by myself, I can clear 33s (285/75 and 255/85) and no BMC or firewall mods - I suspect 35s would require some clearancing, but probably minimal with the right rims.
