Update: Utilizing the old rotor with new pads has seemingly eliminated the condition on Driver Rear. I actuated the brake multiple times and never heard or felt grinding. The dust cover did receive a small adjustment as well. I will continue the investigation tomorrow on the Passenger Rear...

I don’t remember seeing this plastic cover before, can someone point me in the right direction of what that is? I did check the pan bolts and some were a little loose in this area so I’m hoping it was just that, but I have a feeling my rear main is starting to leak. No real loss of oil.

I appreciate it. I have a lot of trust in Amsoil and Mobil 1 (what I’ve been running as of late) even if it’s past intended shelf life. Those two brands carried my engine program when I came through the motocross scene on both ATVs and dirt bikes. A few seconds of run time wouldn’t bother me too...

Correct. No additional noise during that period and the engine sounds the same as it did before the oil change. I’m not naive enough to believe I escaped any damage, but my fingers are crossed that it won’t go boom anytime soon. 10/10 don’t recommend.

How are the tires holding up so far? I’m in N AL with a Midnight SR5 Premium. Finally ran into needing a rear locker tonight. That’s the only downside on these that I’ve found.

Face/Phone verification would be much easier than this. I’m slaving away just trying to figure out if anyone has trail recommendations at Stony Lonesome in AL.
