You can rent a torque wrench for free from Autozone. I made a tool to hold the harmonic balancer out of a 2x4 that was long enough to brace against the frame to hold it from spinning while loosening/tightening the bolt.

I 2nd this. I purchased the tool and used a 12 ton press and it was perfect, no issues what so ever. Ive done bushings, front and rear wheel bearings and other mis stuff with the 12 ton and it has never strained.

You can rule out the sway bar by just disconnecting it and see if the noise goes away. My rear wheel bearings started making a clunking sound when they went out, you might check the front wheel bearings too.

They are not old, they are a year old or so, its the fact I added a bunch of weight to the back and now sits low.

Mine had the same symptoms and it was a cracked head. It would blow extra smoke on cold starts but then clear up with a little rough idle for 15 sec's or so. There were 2 small cracks between the valves on cyl 4. It would let some coolant seep into the cylinder when cold but then as the head...
