I ended up just installing a new fan & clutch.

My local dealer: Toyota of Fayetteville (Arkansas)...I thought the prices seemed to be less than other's prices posted on here.

Okay, now how about belt tension for the a/c compressor, alternator, and fan belts? I have a tension guage, and it seems easy to use, I just don't have the specs for tension....I've gotta say, I am not at all impressed with the hayes repair manual I bought, doesn't seem to have hardly any...

Okay, taking a close look @ my torque wrench, it actually goes down to 5ft/lb (60 in/lb)...it's new and I hadn't looked it yet, when I ordered it, the specs on amazon showed 10ft/lb to 80 ft/lb. Would it hurt to orver-torque the 48in/lb to 60in/lb (5ft/lb)???

Doh! The lowest my torque wrench goes is 10ft/lb...any advice?
