    Quicksert and helicoil kits allow you to fix the threads, and in most cases get the threads back to factory specs (as long as the bad hole is not too large) so all you would need is a new factory bolt for the caliper.     Sounds like a helicoil. (The spring thing) Try googling quicksert, they might have a thread repair kit that will suit your needs/get you back to stock.

    Kimballs is in Washington state. Sucks dealing with paying 2 different companies for basically nothing, but I guess some days you're the dog and some days you're the fire hydrant. Hopefully this thread helps someone else make an informed decision.
