Hey all, new here, been lurking for a few, and taking advantage of the plethora of info on this site. Love it!!:yo:
Based on some of the threads I read I went with a Toytec lift, and all went smooth with the install. Where things got a little messed up was when I tried to get the alignment done. I won't get into details, but after 2 chain store tire /alignment shops had my runner feeling all sorts of messed up, and telling me (what turned out to be lies) every excuse under the sun as to why it was handling the way that it was, I finally ended up at kimballs auto body and alignment. (Tacoma wa area). I gave them the 2 day old "spec sheet" from the last shop, and they went to work. After they were done, the tec came out to talk to me and said his initial readings were way off from what the last shop had printed out. I asked him about all the problems that the other 2 shops claimed I had, and he said no, no issues that he could see and that I had lots of adjustment. Needless to say, my runner feels great!!! If anyone is curious where to take their runner to get a proper job done, Kimballs on pacific ave is the place to go. Nice staff, price was spot on, and the end result wAs a happy lifted runner!!
