Thanks, looks like oreilys has "MasterPro 3/8 Inch P/S Return Hose - PS0308" - Confirmed this fit perfectly, just cut to size. Flushed out old fluid and bled, used Valvoline Max Life ATF. Toyota calls for Dextron II/III. I found the Toyota p/n for the whole assembly which is a waste of money...

Just noticed a small amount of oil in this threaded hole on the valve cover on the drivers side of my 4.7L 4runner. Also noticed the plug boot is a little darker adjacent to it. My question is if that's leaking from the bottom of the valve or if I accidentally spilled oil on it from my last oil...

Well, just got done doing plasti-dip...looked horrible, spent the morning taking it all off. Ordering some clips and gonna do it right like I shoulda did the first time! Gonna repaint them silver. Learn from my stupid mistake!:frusty:

Appreciate it, I'm leaning towards plastidip since this is an 03 and has a bunch of dings in the bodypaint already. The paint on the fender flares is faded really bad, do I need to sand them or just clean really well, mask, and plastidip?

Not looking for anything fancy here, just something that doesn't chip after I paint the fender flares (they're weathered and faded). Was thinking about masking them on the 4runner, sanding, and painting them. Any recommendations? Ty in advance

Drained and filled last night, gonna keep an eye on it. I want to say the gear oil fluid looked good, at least a quart came out. Think it calls for 1.5 quarts. I'll report back in a few days. Greatly appreciate all the replies! Thank you

Just wiped it clean but there was oil over the black bracket (with 3 holes) in the picture. Transfer case actuator? Any ideas where to start? Checked transmission fluid which is good. This oil isn't red, its actually oil colored.

Just wanted to say thanks for this guide. Quick question regarding " Don't forget the high temp grease on the back of the pads." I've only put dielectric grease on the 17mm bolts, never anywhere on the back of the pads. Do I really need to grease the pads too? I'm assuming that's where the...

Had to use the original hardware on the rear pads because the hardware Raybestos sent is the wrong fit. Gonna do rotors now, any recommendations thats not Raycraptos?:D

yep, v8. It's onroad to work 95% of it's time, the only other time I have it "offroad" would be muddy roads during the winter/hunting season.
