Popped the end caps of the rails and pressure washed the pollen and gunk out. I can't be the only nerd that does that.

Used my floor jack to determine lift needed for desired ride height. Prefer lower to higher. King Suspension is calling my name.

Another vote for the taco whip. One of the first mods most new 3rd gen owners do after the standard tune up parts.

Replaced and relocated trans cooler and added an inline filter. The previous owner had already done the trans cooler and even installed it between the rad and condenser but had only secured it at the bottom end of the cooler. The top end was loose and swinging, smacking my rad and condenser...

Well, I lay my head down in Bellevue but I spend most of time between Issaquah and Snoqualmie Pass as I'm a mountain runner and rock climber. Bought the Runner to get me to more remote trailheads as well as going overland. Plus it's easier to sleep in than a WRX. I'll be going with the 231's...

After having my Runner for about a month now the full tune up is complete as of this morning! Time to go in to debt building her up! Tundra brakes first. It'll be my daily driver plus the occasional road trip so it seems prudent.

Not a damn thing, sadly. I didn't make enough. I did get my REI dividend in the mail yesterday though. I'm sure they have some cool little thingamajig I can plug in to the dash :violin:

Took advantage of the lull in weather to change my plugs and wires. Wasn't stoked to pull out incorrect plugs (just bought the Runner) but it was nice knowing she'd run even better after the correct ones went it. And yes, drivers side firewall plug is not a picnic. Not the plug itself but...

This would be a great time to install a stand alone trans cooler, assuming you haven't already done that. You are already draining the coolant, so save yourself a future headache and spend a bit more money for long term piece of mind.
