Looking For Wiring Diagram - 2002 Stereo Head Unit

Howdy! I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am looking for the EWD for a 2002 Limited head unit, with amp (premium audio). I'm tracking down a bad ground, testing for continuity etc. I'm thinking the head unit is bad as the chassis is grounding to the dash plate and...

    Few Pics - 2002 SE - Thundercloud - Black SR5 Wheels - Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain +

Coming to the close of my second winter in these tires and I’m just as happy as can be. Salt Lake valley got about 12-18” of snow the last few days and my commutes were slow but uneventful. I forgot to post last year but I like and trusted the tires enough that I put the same size and model on...

    What are your HIGHWAY mpg's?

You sir are correct. It's probably 3.909. I copied someone elses post for the format and pasted the wrong ratio. I'll look at the door sticker to confirm later. Updated my post.

    E15 and 3rd gens

Not sure if anyone has posted this link but I hope it helps anyone who has been looking. I’ve been running ethanol-free for years. I’m currently getting 20mpg combined highway and road driving and as high as 23 with longer highway trips (30+ miles). The increase Fuel cost is definitely worth the...

Best app to check gas mileage and monitor other info with Veepeak OBD

Sorry for the delayed response. I'm apparently not on here enough lol. Fusion has it buried in a few menu levels as follows... Display Configuration / PID / Toyota, Lexus, Scion / Engine and Electronically Controlled Transmission / AT Fluid Temp ('C, 'F) I'm pretty sure this is the one I...

Best app to check gas mileage and monitor other info with Veepeak OBD

I've been using OBD Fusion for just over a year. Has not let me down, and has way more customizability than I would ever need. The last time I used it to monitor A/F ratio's and fuel trim's to assist in diag for an O2 sensor. Definitely a keeper.

    Tire time - options sought

I have been incredibly impressed with the Pirelli Scorpion All-Terrain Plus, which are also severe snow rated. They can be found in your size for around $150-$170 per tire. If you have a Sam's Club membership they're $150. I'm currently running them through their paces. See more info below...

    Few Pics - 2002 SE - Thundercloud - Black SR5 Wheels - Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain +

Quick update: It's been about 3,000 miles since I posted this thread and I thought I'd update on the tires. So far I am really impressed. I have not done any heavy offroading as most of my driving consists of fire roads and light trails. Most of those trails consist of medium sized rocks...

Does anyone know if this BF sale will include parts, not just accessories? 15-20% off of rack mount feet perhaps?

Stripped Front Diff. Hex Drain Bolt

The chisel is truly the safest and easiest way to remove it. It's a chronic problem with Toyota's, all generations, and all models that have the large hex drain plug on the front diff. I've literally removed a hundred or more with a chisel during my time as a Toyota tech. An air hammer chisel...

Help diagnosing front end passenger noise on bumps

Based on this and it being directly underneath your foot, check the body mount, check for loose or broken exhaust hangers, and the passenger side steering rack bushing (C shaped bushing). Also check the passenger door hinges.

Help diagnosing front end passenger noise on bumps

Can you describe the noise a little more? Is it a squeak, a rattle, a clunk, a grind. The sound of the noise can help narrow down where it may come from.
