How much value, and what is the best way to extract it, from a 4th gen V8 with only 100,000 miles that is nearly mint everywhere except it's basically "totaled" by its frame rot/brake line corrosion/everything underneath rotted?

Oh BTW Humble, he did mention fighting every bolt. It why both these jobs have cost me about 40 bucks in parts but ~300 in labor

I'd also like to know if dealers will still take vehicles like that for some value. Even if they send it on to the Truck Farm in Cambodia or whatever.

I have a relatively low mileage 2006 Sport V8 (111,000mi) that is basically in mint condition.... except for the chassis. Twice in the last year while driving, I got red alert alarms and all traction dash lights on that indicate catastrophic brake failure. A line had ruptured and left zero fluid...

So yeah, rusted brake line It took me a week of it sitting before I got around to towing it to a Toyota/Lexus shop. Then it spent almost 4 weeks there waiting on the backordered brake line. I've now got it back fixed. Thanks everyone.

I highly doubt the TTV6 will come to the 4Runner.

I lifted off the radiator cap but it's a dark black skinny tube. Not sure what its supposed to look like up there at the cap. You can't actually see down it, it lets no light in.
