DO IT, You wont regret it, I had a 90 V6 and the head gasket issue is 100% TRUE. It happened to the guy I sold my truck to a week after buying it. He didnt pay me much for it but go for the 22RE. Its a hard engine to kill, they go forever.

It sounds like a number of things can be wrong. It may be electrical. a Weak fuse??? just like a person who goes to visit a couple of other doctors for consultations, I would take it elsewhere for estimates and inspections. I hope you get it figured out.

Finally we found out the AFM and TPS were causig the issue. I managed to go 110KMPH with 33's which is 120 I think lol.
