Hi folks. Just thought I'd say hi, since I picked up a '90 today and am pretty fired up. The details are as follows: 1990 SR5 V6, automatic with all options except the sport seats. Grey on gray with 220,000 miles. Bought it from my neighbor who has owned it since day 1. We're in California, so no rust anywhere. The issues I know of so far: Slight oil seepage/leakage from what looks like the rear engine seal. One sticky door lock knob that won't go up or down with the auto lock button, but can be forced by hand. The rear power window (tailgate) doesn't work, and there are a few dings here and there. The paint is all original and has it's share of scratches (I'll give it a thorough detail) but absolutely no oxidation. Interior is essentially flawless. I used to have a 1990 SR5 4WD V6 Xtra cab, and regretted selling it. This time I'll be using the T4R for family trips when we take the dog with, some good wheeling sessions (I've really missed those), and pulling my shifter kart to the track. It might be just me, but I think the second gen. T4R is still better looking than just about anything out there. It's simple yet classy and rugged. I intend to take this puppy well past 400K miles. I'll post picks soon. Looking forwards to getting some advice on repairs, upgrades etc. from the board. BTW, I picked it up for $1000 which seemed like a good deal to me?

Nice find, I sold mine with a leaking head gasket, rotten beyond words for 1500. I grew up in Cali and know what its like to have a rust free car. Cars ROT in Canada after 4 years. Goo Deal, just be weary of that rear leek it might turn out to be serious. I hope it isn't but most 3.slows have the head gasket issue. Some have found a resolve for it though.
