My New 87 SR5 Beast

Hey guys. I hope you enjoy these pics. I have a 22RE in there, I have a few questions.

.1) The truck is running weird. It bogs and does not want to accelerate.
.2) Check Engine light is on!
.3) Does not pull the way it should, it craps out at about 4000 RPM and it takes an eon to get there.
Where should I start the diagnosis.

Start with the usual, timing, plugs wires,cap, rotor, air filter, the fuel filter is often missed. Get the codes read , that will probably help. Might just be the o2 getting old.

If you don't have anyone that can read the codes, do a search to find out how. It's not that hard with this system do do it yourself.
The 22re doesn't pull that well anyway. Actually, it cant be fixed. I can dispose of it for you and I wouldn't even charge you that much. I could use the bumpers....:biggrin2:

Finally we found out the AFM and TPS were causig the issue. I managed to go 110KMPH with 33's which is 120 I think lol.

Nice 4runner. i like the all black look, and those rims are nice. i've got the same ones.
