Ocotillo Wells - Steep Dune Climbing Tips

Simple question. I was fully aired and just messing around in Ocotillo this weekend. I was kind of a wuss and didn't try to climb up blow sand after watching my friend fail at it (4wd drive Ford). In any case, what are your tips for climbing steep dunes? I was thinking of doing the...

    Bilstein 5100 Availability

I had the same issues with the front 5100s shocks. ORW (San Marcos) told me there were backordered from Bilstein and the ETA was really vague from them. ORW made a few calls to some suppliers and were able to locate me a pair. I noticed that once I made a deposit, they took me seriously and...

    Exhaust Tips / Ideas

I was wondering if anyone has done a more custom exhaust set up besides the bolt on systems. I was thinking of getting a Flowmaster 50 series and running 3" piping from the muffler back. I think a 3" exhaust pipe near the back would look awesome. I might just go with a 3" tip, but I want it...

    Post your LIFTED pix here!

Yes, it is just 285s and 5100s w/ stock springs and rims. The new Trails look really good already (besides the lame tires they put on them and the 2.75" back to front rack). The front is set on the 3rd ring (~ 2"lift). I tried to keep it simple, but now I just want to keep adding stuff now :-).

2014 Trail - 5100s / 285s Here are some more photos I took of my recent lift. The rear is stock, but I upgraded the rear shocks to 5100s too. I went with with Toyos 285/ AT/II LT Versions. Overall, I am happy with everything. It rides a little stiffer and you get dinged about 1-2 MPG...

    2014 Trail w/ 5100s and 285s

Sorry, I was super tired when I wrote the post. It is not a pre runner or two wheel drive.

    2014 Trail w/ 5100s and 285s

I just lifted my brand new 2014 Toyota 4Runner Trail. I went with the following set up: Stock coils 5100s Bilsteins All Around. Front End Lifted (I believe at the 3rd Notch, I did not install) Diff Drop 285s Toyos A/T II (LT Version). Overall, it sits level (it looks higher in the front in the...

    2014 4Runner Trail - Tire Opinion

New to the Forums. I just purchased my 4runner last week and already love it! I purchased a simple 2.5" lift using the 5100 Bilsteins. I made sure that I am getting the diff drop. I just want to level it out a bit for now. In the future, I would want to get an UCA and coil overs (Stage 3...
