The leak is right beind the cat where it connects to the muffler.

So I have this exhaust leak... My friend who is a solid mechanic told me that I had one of two options: I could just bang a straight pipe throught the cat, or I could just cut off the cat all together. It would be registered in FL so it would be legal (more or less). Any other suggestions?

This is Jenny. Bought her with 196,000 miles and in next to perfect condition except a little body rust that I promptly fixed with a little bondo and elbow grease. She needs a new valve cover gasket but other than that, she is great!

I just bought Rockford Fosgate R14X2's for the dash. Should be in tomorrow. The ones that are in the dash right now are (I'm fairly certain) stock, and they sound like it.

Hey everyone. I just bought a '95 4runner 5-speed SR5 with 196,000 miles. Well maintained (the previous owner was a mechanic at a toyota dealership) and i love it to death. Looking forward to learning a lot and sharing experiences with you fine folk.
