v8man I have a trd supercharger as well. Have you done any tuning? Are you using the trd piggyback? I just got a map ecu 3. Looking for a base map to start with.

I figured it out Steering wheel controls are part of the large 20 pin harness, not the one with the power wire.

I was about to hook up the pacs swi-rc steering wheel control module and discovered the previous owner cut the harness. I vaguely remember the wiring and harness coming in from the driver side into the head unit cavity when I did this before. Right now there is no wiring coming in from that...

Thanks for the response Kyle. Yes so far very fun to drive. Just put some Ngk BKR7EIX spark plugs in today they come pre gapped to .030. The Ngk plugs you listed would have to be gapped down. Actually seem a nice increase when plugs were changed to the right ones.

Are there any in here? Just picked one up running stock trd ecu. Not a lot of good info on the 4runner platform. Looking general info/tips from experienced users. Issues to watch out for. What ecu/ tune did you end up with and how did you like it. Been fun to drive so far.

i did this and if you want the amber the flash with the turn signals i believe you need a relay. If you are running white you should be good. i run amber and i don't use the halos as turn signals but its still somewhat of an unfinished project.

check the radiator cap and change it out a friends radiator cap disintegrated on a trail couple weeks back quick and easy fix.

i put mine under the radio so i can remove the thermostat and update without taking out the whole console. fitment is very tight!!!

I used the rp4 in my 04 sport. Didn't work until the last update came out last month. This thing is huge too. There is not a lot of room behind a double din. I would avoid it if possible.
