    Wildpeaks Cracking

Date code from same year I bought them. I have an email into Falken and will see what their response is.

    Wildpeaks Cracking

I was near a Discount Tire today and stopped in. Same thing I was told....probably weather related and nothing that I should be concerned about.

    Wildpeaks Cracking

My Wildpeaks are almost 4 years old with 23k on them. Has anyone experienced cracking around the treads like this? Something to be concerned about?

Lock all doors when rolling up rear hatch window

Yes, my owner's manual says the same thing. I wonder if I can make the change by going the Carista route.

    Gunmetal Grey Rear Emblem Overlays

Anyone know where I could get rear emblem overlays that match the gunmetal greyish color on the front TRD Pro "Toyota" letters? Looks like a guy bought overlays and painted them that color but that seems rather annoying to have to do that. Plenty of black out overlays but can't seem to find a...

Lock all doors when rolling up rear hatch window

I have a 2016 with a real key. And here is a real scenario: Rear hatch window down. Front door open. You roll up the rear hatch window from the outside with the key. This locks all doors. You go and put the key in the front seat and proceed to shut the front door. All doors and windows...

    Recommendations for new kicks

I haven't had the Wildpeaks on long enough to comment about traction. There is a huge thread about this tire and everyone seems to rave about traction, even compared to the KO2. The Michelins are super quiet and plush ride. One reason I went with the Wildpeaks is because they come in SL. I did...

    Recommendations for new kicks

It's true. Get the Michelins. I ran them(back when they were the M/S2) on my 08 4Runner after the new factory tires wore out. I sold the truck with 115k miles I believe and the Michelins still had tread. They will dry rot before the tread wears out. I also had a set on my '16 for about 20k...

    Oil based paint on softex

This is to confirm that WD-40(or the PB Blaster equivalent) is safe on SofTex. Took the paint off with minimal effort. I had a wet rag ready to go to wipe off the seat and residue.

    Oil based paint on softex

I have a couple white spots of oil based paint that got on my softex driver's seat. There was some wet paint on my pants and it transfered onto the seat when I sat down. Errr Any thoughts on how to get this up? Water isn't going to work. Would mineral spirits harm the material?

    TEP Trim Above Glove Box

It will need to be removed to properly wrap. There is another thread about this issue and someone posted pictures of their finished wrapped piece. Not sure how difficult it is to get to that piece. I asked the dealer this and they had no idea, but I imagine it is just a matter of dropping the...

    TEP Trim Above Glove Box

So I finally am getting resolution on this. Took to dealer and they said they had to send pictures into Toyota because they have never seen it before. Waited. Toyota comes back and says that because they aren't able to discern for sure how this damage was caused and because regional has never...

Toyota is Repurchasing my '18 4Runner TRD ORP...

For me, it is certainly miserable to drive at highway speed when it is happening. It sends the high frequency vibrations up your entire arms. I wouldn't say that it makes me feel unsafe though. And yes the Michelin Defenders did help in my case. Not completely but mostly.

How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Email bomb every dealer in the area. Sub $38k should be your goal for ORP w Kdss and no sunroof. Depending on the region, these can be hard to come by. Kdss with sunroof is a more common package. If you can't get close to that around Portland, keep expanding your search radius. For me, I found...

Toyota is Repurchasing my '18 4Runner TRD ORP...

Good research. I gain two things from this: 1. Those who used this as a fix seem to be fixing an issue with the differential needle bearing, but Toyota replaced Pumacat's differential and the problem persisted. So it doesn't appear that our issue is related to the differential, hence this...
