Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

And I stated that I ''went up'' 7.5''...... not that I put a 7.5 inch lift on it! But thanks for reading!

Even with the boat on it the rear didn't sag hardly at all.

Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Front Bilsteins 5100 set to .75'' of lift Maxtrac 4'' lift spindles Stock springs (because once I put the Toytech front springs on and had the 5100's set to 2.5'' of lift and then took it off the lift I had gained 12'' from where I started.) Rear Bilsteins 5100 2'' All-pro springs I ended up...

Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Let me rephrase that.... went up a total of 7.5'' from where it was sitting before I changed anything. Factory suspension, and tire size, plus shock and spring fatigue.

    2wd treads?

Looks great man! How much rubbing did you run into with that setup? Looking at yours, I dont think I need to go with the full 6'' from rough country now. Yours has the stance that I'm looking for. And did you need the wheel spacers or did the spindles push the wheels out far enough. Thanks...

    2wd treads?

Do you have any pics of how it turned out?

    2wd treads?

I'm not sure which road I should take. I like the setup that most 4X4 guys are doing to get the 3'' lift but, if I go with the spindle lift then I can get a little bit taller tire under it. I very rarely take mine off road unless its to and from hunting spots. 4wd is not required for any of...

The Overland Adventures - 4th Gen Build!

I know this may sound stupid and unrelated but it appears that you have recently filled up with gas. Have you checked your gas cap to make sure its on all the way? Got the same lights and pulled the codes and the solution was to tighten the gas cap and pull the negative cable off for 10 mins...

The Overland Adventures - 4th Gen Build!

Yeah the rough country kit just seems to cheap. If it's one thing I know it's ''Good things aren't cheap, and cheap things aren't good''!

The Overland Adventures - 4th Gen Build!

That's probably what I'm going to do. I was just looking at your pictures and it looked like your front end was still a little raked. Maybe its just the pavement. I was thinking that because I wanted the full 3'' in the front but also wanted the ride quality with the Bilsteins. I'm trying to...

The Overland Adventures - 4th Gen Build!

I really want to swap out the front suspension with the Bilstein 5100 in the front and then use the rear springs and shocks that come with the Rough country kit. Here's my dilemma,,,,,, if I put the Bilsteins on the front (at their lowest setting) can I still use the spacers from the other kit?

I really like the way yours turned out. Great build! Mine is only a 2wd so mine will be just for the looks. I wasn't sure if the 2wd model required different parts or if I could just use the same parts you did. Did you put spacers on yours?
